About the role:
We have two part time positions available, one working 40 hours per fortnight (0.5FTE) and the other working 64 hours per fortnight (0.6FTE). Both positions are on a fixed term basis for 12 months. These roles will be based within the Tauranga Hospital Inpatient Social Work Team who cover wards within Tauranga Hospital.
With no day being the same, you will have an opportunity to work with people of diverse cultures and ages to undertake biopsychosocial, risk and safety assessments and plan interventions. Utilising your crisis intervention skills you will provide therapeutic support for the patient and whÄnau and facilitate connections with BOPDHB services and external agencies.
