With the changing landscape of work, more and more new businesses are launching and side hustles are the norm. We are the place to launch and run a business in Canada.

 

You will own our social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and more), including creating the content calendar, writing copy, sourcing visuals and user-generated content and engaging with our customers on a daily basis.

 

With your creative and analytical skills you can leverage customer insights and market data to help deliver an innovative approach to messaging, content, and creative assets, build a community, foster partnerships with influencers and publications and encourage customers to support, educate and motivate one another.

 

What will you do?

Create content for all social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Youtube, etc.), manage the scheduling of content; and be an engaging online presence to our community.

Collaborate closely with teams to ensure our brand voice is consistent and relatable across all platforms.

Keep up to date on the latest social trends, key topics, and news! Seek out opportunities and find innovative ways to apply these opportunities in ways that drive our content strategy.

Plan and manage webinars, reels, and live streams.

Establish and maintain relationships with Ownr customers and community members.

Communicate directly with users via social media channels including directing and responding to questions, engaging in conversation, and connecting with relevant people/organizations

 

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

3-5 years of demonstrated social media and community management experience – building authentic engagement with users.

Excellent writing and communications skills (including editing and in-depth research for content development).

Experience with Influencer marketing, campaign planning and execution and managing multiple stakeholders to get projects done from start to finish.

Experience with tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, and Sprinklr.

Short and long form video content production and publishing experience.

Phenomenal collaborator - you thrive in building alignment, developing shared goals and strategy, and using data to measure progress and maintain accountability

Experience with photo and video editing apps (Photoshop/Premiere/After Effects/Final Cut/Figma etc.)

Bilingual (French) would be considered an asset
