Join our Microsoft Store Direct Sales & Support (DSS) specialized sales team that services Surface and Microsoft 365 to give people the freedom to work their way from anywhere, protected by Microsoft security and modern manageability. Our Surface Acquisition teams work with our managed customers to evangelize the benefits of Surface devices and help them get started with their first Surface devices. Sellers will work with the account teams to build account plans, attend customer calls, and work with partners to drive sales from start to finish.

Customer Obsession
- Develops and maintains trusting relationships with business accounts or business organizations through social, digital, video, demos, chat, phone and in-person meeting; promotes brand awareness and establishes, drives, and grows sales pipelines. Pursues and leverages awareness of current Microsoft's key differentiators within the market to promote brand awareness, grow sales pipelines, and drive sales and support.
- Creates and positions offerings and cross platform ecosystem integration using selling motions end to end and direct partnerships to increase customers' utilizations of hardware, software, and cloud solutions; learns of changing environment, circumstances, and situations to further tailor communications.
- Monitors and updates Customer Relation Management (CRM) systems and tools and ensures timely and accurate updates related to current customer journey. Adapts to a constantly growing client list and advocates for client hardware and software refresh or upgrades. Engages in high-level storytelling to convey how Microsoft products and services can improve customer needs and experiences. Helps to drive business-to-business (B2B) interactions to bolster sales. Helps create a seamless customer transition.
Revenue/Sales
- Articulates and sells cloud services, platforms, hardware, and software to prospective and current clients, and showcases the ways in which these services benefit the recipients. Markets and closes software-as-a-service (SaaS) deals to meet complete solution (e.g., cloud, device) sales goals to ensure year-over-year growth.
- Builds and facilitates sales pipelines from beginning to end for net-new and repeat revenue. Starts the purchase orders (POs) process and partners with senior team to ensure agreed upon complete solution numbers align with the sales agreement. Acts as a primary point of contact for customers before, during, and after sales deals. Partners with senior team to forecast sales pipeline.
Drive For Results
- Engages with customers to determine their needs and identify opportunities to solve and sell with Microsoft's leading cloud and device solutions; independently turns prospects and qualified leads into opportunities and revenue pipeline, as well as cross-sell opportunities. Utilizes services (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator) to engage dormant, existing customers, new businesses, and new sales opportunities. Actively seeks opportunities from other business areas and owns these opportunities for account development. Drives customer success through leveraging the value propositions.
Collaboration
- Engages and collaborates with peers, managers, and corporate to drive innovative ways to create and focus on brand awareness within the market and ensure a One Microsoft approach to increase the corporate footprint.
- Learns to partner with corporate, Outbound Sales, and business Sales Representatives to facilitate opportunities and pipeline through the sales cycle. Collaborates with partners and resources and learns about customer business; supports senior team members to explore business and emerging opportunities.
Learning
- Completes all required training and obtains relevant product and role certifications aligned to the role and workload/industry; proactively asks for help and is open to feedback and coaching from managers and teammates; seeks intermediate knowledge of sales techniques and Microsoft products.

Required/Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma AND 2+ years sales experience
- OR equivalent experience.
