The SMB Marketing team is responsible for defining the Marketing plan that will achieve our commercial and customer objectives.

Whether that be creating an innovative new value proposition to target a key customer segment in the market, identifying how we best retain our existing customers, or finding and exploiting opportunities to cross-sell our fantastic range of products and services to new and existing customers.

We are constantly on the lookout for ways to market our products and services to new and existing customers in a way that meets real business needs and drives commercial impact to the P&L.

About the role

The SMB Senior Propositions Manager will be responsible for understanding the needs of our key customer audiences and will then work closely with our Product, Sales and Marcomms team to create compelling value propositions and Solutions that give businesses an unmissable reason to join Virgin Media O2, buy more from us and stay with us for longer.

Key Responsibilities

• Use customer insight and audience segmentation to understand the needs of prospects and customers and how our products and services best meet their needs
• Ideate and create insight led value propositions and messaging that give businesses a compelling reason to join/stay/spend more with Virgin Media O2, aligned to overall brand narrative and segment strategy
• Define a clear Marketing plan that aligns to key commercial objectives - who we will target and with which products / propositions at what time
• Take to market of propositions, including Legal and Regulatory, Financial approval, Channel readiness etc.
• Create clear briefs into Marcomms and Channels to drive excellent execution of our Marketing plan
• Seeking fast and cost-effective / digital routes to find and attract customers

What We Need from You:

Essential Skills:

• A customer champion, passionate about understanding business customers and their needs coupled with the ability to identify and develop commercial opportunities.
• Experience of the B2B market
• Strong commerciality and willing to work in an agile way to deliver results
• Strong influencing, collaboration, and team-working skills, willing to challenge others to get results
• Ability to clearly communicate plans
• Ability to deliver and execute in complex environments
