Responsibilities
What You Do
Sales Execution
- Receives leads from Marketing, Account Teams, and/or partners, and converts leads into opportunities for the supported business; partners with manager to determine the quality of the opportunity and whether to proceed.
- Articulates to customers in at least one solution area (e.g., Modern Workplace) can enable digital transformations across specific workloads and engages in discussions of digital transformation opportunities for those workloads; initiates conversations with customers on digital transformation in a solution area, in collaboration with partners and services.
- Leverages phone, MSX, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to develop an understanding of the customer. Leverages Commercial Consulting Tool (CCT) tool to engage with customer and map relevant solutions.
- Understands basic customer business needs through background research and initial conversations; partners with manager to recommend solutions or products in an assigned area with some direction. Quickly establishes a trusted advisor relationship and provides solutions aligned with business needs.
- Regularly achieves and/or exceeds targets for wins, revenue, and Cloud Booked revenue (CBR). Applies methods for contacting customers and follow ups. Demonstrates a disciplined approach to executing sales strategies and the complete funnel to achieve targets. Lead to opportunity conversion. Has the ability to close simple deals.
Technical Expertise
- Leverages a technical understanding of solutions to serve customer with simple goals.
- Leverages a basic understanding of competitors and their solutions for simple business needs.
Sales Excellence
- Provides feedback and product insights to help deliver better customer success strategies and customer solutions.
- Completes all required training and obtains relevant product and role certifications aligned to the role and workload/industry; proactively asks for help and is open to feedback and coaching from managers and teammates; seeks essential knowledge (e.g., additional products, solution areas) of sales techniques and Microsoft products.
Customer Obsession
- If you are assigned to a location with a Microsoft Experience Center (MEC) or Company Store (ECS), a portion of your time may be spent serving customers in the MEC or ECS as business requires.
Responsibilities
- Utilise internal CRM systems to draw new leads and conduct customer outreach. Phone, email etc.
- Work with existing leads in a cyclical manner to establish or maintain communication
- Follow up on customer queries for support etc.
- Manage leads and opportunities in a timely manner
- Partner with SMB team to hand over larger/ more complex opportunities as per

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High-school diploma or equivalent AND 1+ years sales or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or:
High-school diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years of technology sales, tele-sales, or equivalent experience.
