We are the Outlook Platform team and currently looking for a highly motivated SRE who can help build scalable Outlook platform and set a high bar for performance and reliability. We are in the early stages of fundamentally rethinking the existing calendar and mail backend services to meet the next generation use cases. You will be building a massively distributed cloud service with O(exabyte) data handled by O(300K) servers in O(100) data-centers around the entire globe. You will be part of a passionate and creative team working to modernize the way people collaborate and communicate. We are looking for a SRE with experience and/or interest in architecting and building secure, distributed, scalable, and resilient services using modern technologies such as C#, .Net core, gRPC, micro-service architectures, and Web APIs. We want to build a best-in-class Outlook platform using robust coding practices and new tech. Qualifications

Successful candidates should have: 

• Strong passion and proven experience delivering highly quality services/distributed systems. 
• 2+ years of experience designing, implementing, and shipping production services. 
• Prior experience implementing and optimizing Build and Release pipelines incorporating infrastructure and configuration as code.  
• Ability to generate clarity in ambiguous situations  
• Exceptional problem solving, coding & debugging skills  

• Passion for and ability to quickly understand emerging technologies. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

Strong pluses: 

• Performance analysis skills.
