Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to kickstart their career within the Finance Industry, you would be willing to learn from an experienced team and step into the role of Settlements Administrator in our Custody team.

Based in Wellington, the key purpose of this role is to take ownership of the recording and settlement of investment transactions for Trustees Clients, including Equities, Fixed Interest, Money Markets, Derivatives, International Trade settlement and Foreign Exchange. This permanent role is an exciting one, as Trustees bring on new clients and the Custody team grows.

What you will bring:

  • The desire to start a career in the finance industry, and to work with TE to develop your skills
  • General knowledge of the Funds Management Industry, with a qualification in Finance, Accounting or similar
  • An understanding, including the trading and settlement mechanics, of our regular products.
    • Equities
    • Fixed Interest
    • Cash
    • FX Deals
    • Managed Funds
  • The ability to logically follow or create a process from start to finish, with well-developed time management skills and high levels of accuracy.
  • The ability to “think on your feet” while under pressure and manage volatile workflows.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • As the Funds Management and Custody industries are continually evolving it is essential that our new team member is adaptable, open to change and willing to learn
