Job Description
What is the opportunity?
The Service Representative, Group Insurance is the Key contact for account management including post sales activities, complex contractual and plan design inquiries, and installation of new business through client strategy. You will identify cross-selling opportunities and provide superior service in order to achieve regional sales targets as well as promoting group block retention and persistency rates within the Region.
What will you do?
- Resolve client / advisors inquiries by determining appropriate action for complex issues, with minimal management involvement, in addition to proactively recommends solutions and ideas when resolving problems
- Provide education and training on administrative systems (i-Service, Green Shield Portal, online forms, etc.) for sold RBC products to clients or advisors through available resources.
- Process plan changes, termination of policies, transfer of AOR, plan design changes, legal name changes, change of address, billing etc. and maintain accurate producer contact information through SFDC (Sales Force System)
- Assist Sales Consultant with identifying opportunities for additional premium, participating in advisor meetings, preparing documents, ordering reports etc.
- Conduct client installation meetings either face-to-face or webinar depending on location to review product suite and processes
- Initiate and respond to calls from producers and/or group plan administrators and provide product and post-sale administration support with strong relationship management
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Proven oral and written communication skills (French and English)
- Post-secondary education or the equivalent
- Account management and problem resolution skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to learn new systems and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent presentation skills
- Must be willing to travel, driver's license and a car required
Nice-to-have
- Product knowledge for all Group lines of business
- Understanding of Group Insurance market
- Professional sales experience
