  • Based in either Te Puke or Tauranga with occassional travel across the Bay of Plenty District

As a Service Manager your role is pivotal to delivering upon this promise. In other words, be a driver of success for Hōkai Rangi, which has a foundation of success of a values-led organisation.

With rehabilitation of people in our management being our main focus, a “One Team” approach is paramount to ensure those people in the management of Ara Poutama Aotearoa remain at the centre of our efforts and victims at the centre of our concern. By providing professional leadership in all aspects of practice, legislation and offender management, you will maintain quality standards and ensure statutory obligations in line with Department policy.

COVID-19 vaccination requirements

All people working inside prisons are required to be fully vaccinated as part of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021. Ara Poutama is currently consulting with Community Corrections on a proposed policy would require all staff working in Community Corrections to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as well. If approved, this requirement will commence on 28 April 2022.
