Service Desk Analyst Whanganui Hospital Information, Communications and Technology Permanent, 40 hours/week Whanganui District Health Board's Information, Communication & Technology service require a Service Desk Analyst to join our Digital Services team This role shares responsibility for managing all incoming Incidents and Service Requests within our Service Desk tools to ensure that users of WDHB Information Technology receive the best possible service, to enable and support them to provide high quality, patient centered, safe, equitable and sustainable care to our community. This can at times be a fast paced and challenging environment where you are expected to understand how the small decisions you make can impact patient care. Candidates will have excellent communication and customer service skills.They will be team players with the ability to use initiative to resolve sometimes complex issues, to think ahead for their customers needs, and take responsibility for delivering successful results.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and experience:

  •  ICT troubleshooting experience with hardware or software, or similar customer services support role.
  •  Computer literacy and experience working with/understanding of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, relevant tools and social media.
  •  Raising purchase orders for new equipment via a supplier
  •  Office administration experience. Desirable Qualifications, Skills and experience:
  •  A tertiary qualification in a relevant field
  •  ITIL foundation qualification
  •  Adult training experience
