The Company

Soar Communications Group is a new entity formed as a result of the merger between print specialist Soar Print and communications group ICG.  Both companies have had an open and strong working relationship for well over a decade, built on the family-led values of each of the company’s founding fathers.  Our goal at SCG is to strengthen the visual communication offering and give greater opportunity within its creative services, thereby strengthening our marketing and direct marketing services.

 SCG proudly owns and publishes some of New Zealand’s leading magazine titles in their niche audiences, including Dish, Good, NZ Marketing and StopPress. We are a team of over 150 people that bring their passion and creativity together to produce great work that inspires others. We work with some of New Zealand’s biggest brands to create their magazines, including habitat by Resene, BlackWhite, Liquorland Toast and AA. 

 Position Purpose

The ideal candidate will be required to work with clients and the production team to produce high quality products that meet SCG’s prescribed quality standards, client requirements and timeframes and take pride in doing installation of decals for fleet branding to SCG’s high standards.

 Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Ensure installing retail, commercial and store fit out signage is carried out to the highest standard, on time and to the customers’ expectations

Ensure Vehicle application is carried out to the highest standards, on time and to the customers’ expectations

Be the go-to person for team members when they need guidance 

Share knowledge with the team and discuss innovative ideas that could help improve processes that could work well for the business

Assuming responsibility for client estimate and service requests

Assisting sales team with any signage needs or information 

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum high school/tertiary education 
• Ideally 2-3 years’ signage experience and a strong background knowledge of the signage industry
• High standard of communication is required in both verbal and written forms.
• Knowledge in a wide variety of computer programs such as Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office Suite to assist in daily tasks.
• Able to work at heights
