What does a Senior Automation Test Engineer do at Fiserv?

You will play a key role in the software delivery process for our Professional Services teams, delivering mobile banking solutions in international markets.

This a hands-on role where you will work with the rest of the development team and take ownership of the test automation deliverables to ensure only the highest quality products make it out the door.

Your main focus will be to ensure that critical business flows are automated and executed as part of daily automation runs, and that results will be analysed and potential issues investigated and logged as defects where appropriate. 

We are interested in someone with a strong testing background and mindset, developed through years of testing experience and continuous education in the testing field.  You will know how to apply critical thinking skills in your role to identify problems in our products.

You will be part of a high performing team, passionate about what they do with a commitment to getting projects across the line.
 

 Must have:

• 6 + years experience in software testing
• Minimum 3 years in Test Automation preferred in using WebdriverIO, Cucumber and Appium
• 3 + years script development experience in JavaScript (preferred) or C#/Java
• Solid experience with interrogating and validation API requests and responses
• Good understanding of programming concepts
• Good experience with Test Automation Framework development
• Good client facing and external stakeholder communication skills
• Tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Sciences, and/or equivalent relevant work experience
