Assisting in translating business needs into technical requirements. Performing all required tasks to ensure technical availability.
Assisting in interpreting operational results. Analyzing usage patterns and establishing schedules and procedures for maximum utilization of the system.
Maintaining reports and reporting tools for traffic management, service centers and enterprise partners.
Interacting with other organizations to develop solutions for anticipated technical needs in support of business objectives.
5 or more years of experience in a technical role including sound knowledge of RBC technical computer platforms.
Typically requires 5 to 8 years of related experience
University or College Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required
ITIL v3: Foundations, Operational Support & Analysis
Technical Certification in an IT area
Responsible for Application and technical system support within the Active Directory team with a goal of being recognized as a “best in class" service provider and partner of choice for all stakeholder groups.
Planning, Delivery & Execution - Ensure effective internal controls are executed by team. Own quality, quantity, and timeliness of team service delivery.
Change Enablement - Partner with Senior Manager or Director to execute the overall change strategy for the team.
Relationships & Communication - Contact for BAU and project interactions for the team. Provide point of escalation and resolution for incidents and project related issues.
Managerial Excellence - Guide, coach, and mentor junior team to drive optimal performance from team members.
Strong technical writing aptitude
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Strong ability to manage client and stakeholder relations
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
Strong sense of urgency and the ability to shift tasks in high pressure environment (P1/P2 escalations from clients)
Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, Networking, Powershell, Microsoft Windows Servers.
Strong working knowledge and hands-on experience of Windows, 2012 R2 and 2016 operating systems platforms, DNS, networks, DMZs, firewalls, network security zones and IPv4/IPv6 .
Deep, in-depth working knowledge of Kerberos (Microsoft) and NTLM authentication, SSO and federation technologies (hands-on experience)
Working knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPOs), engineering, implementing and 3rd party management solutions, including GPP, ADMX, ADML.
Strong knowledge of LDAP and ability to comfortably construct queries. Overarching broad and deep technical experience with Active Directory Security
Hands-on experience with LDS, LDAP, SPN, IP Addressing, and AD replications.
On-call 24/7 rotation.
