What is the opportunity?
As Senior Technical Systems Analyst – IAM Application Reporting Platform Support, you will play a key role in primarily supporting, managing and administering Identity Access Management (IAM) reporting application and other IAM RBC’s enterprise applications. Operating as a subject matter expert (SME), you will function independently, solve complex problems, and fulfill requests with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is passionate about information security, data quality and securing and protecting privileged accounts, credentials, and non-human access across tools, applications, and systems. In this role, you will support mission critical enterprise-wide services which will require being available on call.
What will you do?
- Support automated and/or analytics solutions to deliver IAM reporting data
- Resolve ongoing medium to high complexity requests and incidents for IAM Reporting and other Applications including Access Manager (SailPoint IdentityIQ)
- Deploy changes for server, configuration, and enhancements following internal hand-off from the Engineering team
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to resolve issues and identify defects, opportunities for automation and enhancements
- Maintain and support test and production environments
- Take on initiatives on self-appointed projects and self-created processes to better enhance the technology
- Provide knowledge sharing, as recognized SME, in efforts such as writing complex knowledge articles, relationship development with other teams, mentoring, and job shadowing
- Provide on-call support for systems in scope
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on working within a geographically distributed team
- Excellent problem solving skills coupled with the ability to collaborate with and lead teams toward resolution
- Strong sense of urgency and bias for positive action with a history of delivering results
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of support experience with SQL database, SQL (ANSI), Microsoft T-SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Linux system and Windows Server experience
- Knowledge of big data, Hadoop and Dataiku
- Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ platform and tools
- Experience with IT Service Management
- Working Knowledge of network, load balancer, FTP, firewall and proxy
Nice-to-have:
- Experience with Cloud network using Azure AD connectivity between on premise and cloud
- Experience in servers and applications monitoring
- Knowledge of Rest API
- Knowledge of Java run-time environment (OpenJDK)
- Knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language) and ZEKA (z/OS scheduler)Experience with source code management and orchestration tools: IBM UCD (UrbanCode Deploy), GitHub, Nexus
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, NAS security, Active Directory Security
- Knowledge of risk and compliance processes and procedures
- Professional certifications, e.g. CISSP, GSEC, GCIH
