Job Description

Primary Responsibilities of Role:

• Lead various IT development initiatives on a day to day basis for the FAMOI Canadian Applications
• Manage/Coach team of developers offshore and onshore to ensure timely and efficient delivery on Enhancements/Client Change and Projects
• Lead IT related discussions in order to implement ideas / initiatives according to I&TS & T&O Strategies
• Support / Facilitate release coordination for Fund Accounting Application deployments and participate in all relevant discussions
• Plan Tech currency roadmaps and lead tech currency upgrade projects for FAMOI Canadian applications

Development & Coaching

• Provides direction, expertise, feedback, coaching/mentoring and development to build the capability of more junior staff.
• Collaborate with Technology & Business peers to discuss and solve complex  issues and problems
• Continually enhances skills and build subject matter expertise in all areas of the Canadian Fund Accounting and Middle office landscape

Job Summary

Managing all aspect of technology development delivery and release cycle of FAMOI Canadian applications by working with Product Owners, Business/Operations, Technology teams and Vendors through careful planning and execution within allotted schedule, scope and budget.

Leading discussions and providing guidance as technical subject matter expert on FAMOI Canadian products and collaborating with Product Owners, Business/Operations, Technology teams and Vendors on IT analysis/development/testing/deployment costs, technical currency planning, release implementations, product vision and roadmaps.
