Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Assistant General Counsel, Regulatory Affairs, the successful candidate will:
- Prepare and/or coordinate written submissions to Regulatory Bodies
- Provide guidance to BCE’s business units on regulatory issues, particularly those applicable to the provision of consumer wireless, Internet and TV services
- Monitor compliance with the CRTC’s codes of conduct applicable to consumers of wireless, Internet and TV services
- Conduct research and analyses on telecommunications issues to assess their regulatory and business implications
Minimum Qualifications:
- University degree
- Exceptional analytical, problem solving and writing skills, as well as excellent communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently under stringent timeframes with great results
Preferred Qualifications:
- Related experience, preferably within the telecommunications industry
- Understanding of BCE’s operations and service offerings
Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
