Job Description
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
- Manage incoming reporting requests from a community of 500+ users
- Manage data governance policies for different communities across the corporation
- Partner with our technical team to implement new reporting solutions/technologies
- Partner with our Configuration Manager to manage, evolve, enrich and document our data model(s)
- Build reports, dashboards and perform data analysis to provide insights for our communities
- Engage with our stakeholders as needed to ensure the data we provide is as contextual and well understood as possible
- Directly support a team of 2 analysts providing reports and insights to our users
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (3-5 years) in a discipline such as:
- Business Intelligence / Data Analysis
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Experience with data warehousing solutions
- Experience with Microsoft SSMS/SSRS, Tableau, Microstrategy (and/or other similar tools)
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Python and/or R programming languages an asset
- You are analytical and understand the value of making data-driven decisions
- You have the ability to see the business problem and business solution in the eyes of the customer
- You are able to manage multiple projects and priorities
- You are a self starter who is comfortable working with and presenting to all management levels
- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)
- Bilingualism (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:
- ITIL V3/V4 Certification
- ServiceNow Experience
- Experience in Telecommunications
