Reporting to the Senior Manager, being an Chief Solutions Architect for Wealth Management means playing a key role in developing work methods and creating value. You'll represent the Bank's values and be empowered to help develop innovative solutions that address real business issues and rethink how we achieve our objectives. 

Your extensive knowledge of technology and platforms supporting brokerage operations will help you build and develop strong business relationships. We're counting on you to help make our partners' vision a reality. 

Your role: 

• Develop technology solutions that meet functional and non-functional business needs and are in line with corporate policies
• Be a catalyst for change and technological progress and influence the business line and the development team
• Help prepare cost estimates
• Be aware of and understand the impact of technology on business processes and applications in order to provide this information to various audiences 
• Communicate changes to stakeholders and lead workshops to come up with value-added solutions  
• Ensure the quality of IT solutions and the smooth flow of activities under your responsibility, from conception to implementation

Required competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus six years' relevant experience OR master's degree in a related field plus four years' relevant experience 
• Experience as a Solutions Architect in the banking industry
• Experience working with integration technologies  (API, microservices, SOA, ESB, Kafka, etc.)
• Experience working with cloud solutions: OpenShift, AWS are major assets
• Experience with relational databases and NoSQL (Sybase, Oracle or PostgreSQL and MongoDB) (required)
• Knowledge of security concepts (SAML, OAuth, OpenID)
• Demonstrated political acumen 
• Positive and inspiring leadership skills 
• Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French) (required)
