Reporting to Manager, Manager Technology Enablement, the Senior Consultant, ICT Systems Architecture, is responsible to assess, identify, and solve network and infrastructure related issues in complex environments. The Senior Consultant develops network, storage and compute designs at Data center level and communicates well at various levels of enterprise, both internally and externally. The Senior Consultant will direct network and infrastructure related tests cases, as well as risk assessments and network evaluations.

• Technical Sales Support with strong focus on Enterprise Infrastructure including but not limited to Networking solutions, Servers, Storage, Security etc.
• Analyze, design, advise, implement and develop supporting documentation, policies and procedures to support SMB (small and medium business) and Enterprise level Network, Storage and Compute environments
• Experience with Storage Virtualization and Compute Clusters
• Experience with Azure, AWS and other Cloud Services
• Experience with Managed Services Sales Support
• Monitor and analyze systems, identifying weaknesses and planning for fixing the same.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis to identify solutions
• Perform hands-on support for various technologies
• Provide support for the installation and operations of complex system hardware
• Create written reports and present them to various stakeholders
• Liaise with various departments and agencies to uncover and manage deficiencies, especially those related to network, storage and infrastructure.
• Coordinate the application of disaster recovery procedures
• Provide guidance to staff on technology issues when needed
• Liaise with Sales and support groups for Client related projects and needs
• Ability to travel by car for Client projects across Manitoba
• Performs other related duties and completes special projects as assigned

CRITICAL COMPETENCIES

• Minimum 5+ years of industry experience
• CCNA/CCNP Route & Switch/Security, Security certifications are considered an asset
• Proven experience in providing network & storage architecture, design, implementation, and support for enterprise environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server Environment and Virtualization experience with VMWare/Hyper-V/KVM
• Experience with the following:
  • Cisco: Routers, Switches---Multiple Carriers and VRFs
  • Cisco: UCS Blade systems
  • Firewalls: Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet etc.
  • SAN Storage Solutions. NetApp, VNX, DataDomain
• Valid Driver’s License and access to vehicle is required
