We are looking to hire an experienced and energetic Senior Software Engineer to join the Customer Experience (CX) / Support Experience Group (SxG) team. We are building the next generation of our applications running on Azure that pull together Dynamics 365, Office 365, and several other Microsoft cloud services to deliver high value, complete, and predictive application scenarios across all devices and form factors. Responsibilities

Designing and developing highly usable and scalable new application capabilities and enhancing existing capabilities to meet the needs of our customers.  

Collaborate across diverse engineering teams and disciplines to solve challenging problems for large-scale business SaaS applications.  

Accountability for the quality, usability, performance, and overall end to end of features.  

Deploy and support our services for partner teams and our customers.  

Ensuring high reliability of applications and services through intelligent monitoring and alerting  

Constantly learn and grow as an engineer and as a member of a diverse and inclusive community.  

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.  

6+ years of experience using either of C#, Java, JavaScript or other object-oriented languages

2+ years’ experience and skills in cloud services using Azure, AWS or equivalent

Strong problem solving, design, implementation, and communication skills. 

Passionate about customer experience and building customer trust 

Demonstrated ability and experience in the entire services development lifecycle: design, implementation, deployment and live site support.  

Great curiosity and willingness to question, undaunted by hard technical problems.  

Strong collaborator who can clearly explain work, listen to peers and customers, embodies growth mindset, and work effectively cross group and within the team 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Master’s+ degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field is a plus.  

Demonstrated capability in strong full stack development.  

Background on services and cloud computing a plus.  

Experience on Microsoft Power Platform is a plus  

Prior experience building business-centric web applications and latest web development technologies.  

Experience in developing, debugging, and supporting code in object-oriented languages and database query languages.  

 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:  

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:  This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
