Position Overview

Autodesk has built one of the most impactful content creation software production teams in the world. We are seeking a Software Development Manager to join us, focusing on the products in our media & entertainment business. In this role, you will be central to our success - a collaborator who bridges customer needs and engineering requirements with an eye towards an innovative future.

We are looking for an individual with strong organization and communication skills who can succeed at both leading technical projects and people management. You should be as enthusiastic about building and motivating a team as you are about the challenging technical problems that you and your team will solve.

As a Sr technical leader, you will be expected to contribute to project execution and strategic planning. You will collaborate with others in cross-functional roles including product management, design, software architects, and other stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

You will be responsible for managing individual team members. This will include regular 1:1 sessions, mentoring and coaching, individual development plans and performance feedback. You should be as enthusiastic about building and motivating a team as you are about the challenging technical problems that you and your team will solve.

Our digital content creation tools (DCCs) form the incredible software backbone of the entertainment industry. From modeling to animation to texturing, rendering, and VFX you will be a passionate advocate for the transformative features used in some of the most beloved video games, feature films, and animation productions around the globe.
