1.0    Description of Assignment

This Senior SAP S/4HANA Materials Management / Warehouse Management Lead is specifically responsible to lead the Materials Management, Inventory Management and Warehouse Management business areas subject matter experts, managers, directors to lead the modernization and transformation of legacy processes to the SAP industry leading processes.

The core SAP processes include the S/4HANA Materials Management, Warehouse Management and Extended Warehouse Management.

Therefore, strong SAP leadership, facilitation, interpersonal combined with verbal/written skills are needed to interact with business teams as well as the ability to apply analysis, definition, and documentation for business, system and data processes following leading practices.

This resource will be required to work onsite and remotely due to the COVID 19 restrictions, this may change based on the provincial guidelines

2.0    Skills and Certifications

Minimum 15+ years of SAP ERP the Materials Management, Warehouse Management modules experience combined with Extended Warehouse Management

Minimum 2+ years with S/4HANA the Materials Management, Warehouse Management and Extended Warehouse Management  module implementation experience

Lead through solution designs and configuration by working on SAP projects that include the Materials Management, Inventory Management and Warehouse Management module (minimum 1809 release) integrating with SAP Ariba business processes

Extensive experience configuring SAP S/4HANA Materials Management,  Warehouse Management and Extended Warehouse Management module

SAP Certification in either SAP Materials Management, or Warehouse Management

Minimum 15 years’ experience leading business subject matter expert project resources to conduct process design workshops, develop business test scenarios, and test cases/scripts from unit testing to user acceptance testing

Highly developed interpersonal skills including written and oral with demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

1+ years’ experience with HP Quality Centre for Test Management

5+ years of experience providing knowledge transfer to sustainment resources to operate newly implemented financial business and IT processes

Ability to work independently under minimum supervision and to plan and execute tasks

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel) and other computer-based systems and databases as they relate to financial analysis

3.0    Assignment Duties

As a Senior SAP S/4HANA Materials Management / Warehouse Management Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:

Lead workshops with the business and IT teams to review as-is process, develop business requirements and make recommendations where efficiencies can be gained through business process re-engineering, adhering to SAP leading business processes;

Lead the design, development and configuration of the SAP solution, integrating the SAP processes with other TTC business systems and processes;

Lead data identification/conversion/migration/loading/cleansing/extraction approaches to support the business in validation and reconciliation deliverables and supporting activities;

Lead the business teams through all phases of the project, including but not limited to project planning, solution design, change management, communications, testing, training, cutover, go-live and post go-live support activities in partnership with the systems integrator;

Applying SAP S/4HANA standard SAP leading practices, accounting principles and standard SAP system recommendations

Collaborate with vendors as required

4.0    Deliverables

Key deliverables for this position is as follows:

SAP Solution Presentations for Senior and Executive Management for Proposed Solutions

Business Requirements Gathering and Documentation

As-Is Process Review

To-Be process Solution Design and Functional Specifications and Solution Configuration and Documentation (including all RICEFWS objects)

Documentation related to RICEFWS (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Forms, Workflow and Security Roles)

Review and provide input to testing strategy and plan

Review and provide input to end user training strategy and plan

Conduct solution walkthroughs as required

Integration management of the Materials Management and Warehouse Management business processes within other departments

Review and provide input and support to data strategies, plans and execution

Review and recommendation security role structures to adhere to leading practices with segregation of duties and least privilege concept

Document sustainment procedures for the Materials Management and Warehouse Management processes

Review and provide input to technical operations and handover plan

Review and provide input to cutover plans

Review and provide input to production system setup

Triage and resolve all the Materials Management and Warehouse Management defects in test phases/cycles as required

Provide production support after go live

Provide input and facilitate business process workshops for benefits realization

Provide input to lessons learned and project closeout

Document meeting minutes and action items as required when facilitating and leading the Materials Management and Warehouse Management meetings
