Job Title: Senior SAP ARIBA Consulting Lead

Period: 2 years

Start Date: Jan 10th 2022      

Location : Toronto

Work would be done remotely until the pandemic situation normalizes.

1.0    Description of Assignment

This Senior SAP Ariba  Lead is specifically to lead the Procurement and Category Management (Operating and Capital) business department subject matter experts, managers and directors through the modernization and transformation of legacy processes to the SAP industry leading processes.

The core SAP Ariba processes of focus include Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Procure-to-Pay, Spend Visibility, Collaborative Sourcing, Forecasting & Scheduling, Inventory Collaboration, Order Execution, Invoice and Cash Management and the Ariba Network

Therefore, strong SAP leadership, facilitation, interpersonal combined with verbal/written skills are needed to interact with business teams as well as the ability to apply analysis, definition, and documentation for business, system and data processes following leading practices.

This resource will be required to work onsite and remotely due to the COVID 19 restrictions, this may change based on the provincial guidelines

2.0    Skills and Certifications

Minimum 10+ years with SAP Ariba Sourcing and Procurement  implementation experience

Minimum 8+ years leading solution design workshops and configuration for SAP Ariba with integration to S/4HANA (minimum 1809 release)

Minimum 3 full lifecycle end to end Ariba project implementations

Extensive experience configuring with SAP Ariba modules

SAP Certification in SAP Ariba modules is required

Minimum 15+ years’ experience leading business subject matter expert project resources to develop business test scenarios, test cases/scripts from unit testing to user acceptance testing

Highly developed interpersonal skills including written and oral with demonstrated ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

1+ years’ experience with HP Quality Centre for Test Management

5+ years of experience providing knowledge transfer to sustainment resources to operate newly implemented financial business and IT processes

Ability to work independently under minimum supervision and to plan and execute tasks

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications (e.g. Word, Excel) and other computer-based systems and databases as they relate to financial analysis

3.0    Assignment Duties

As a Senior SAP ARIBA Consultant, you will be responsible for the following:

Lead workshops with the business and IT teams to review as-is process, develop business requirements and make recommendations where efficiencies can be gained through business process re-engineering, adhering to SAP leading business processes;

Lead the design, development and configuration of the SAP Ariba product including Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, Procure-to-Pay, Spend Visibility, Collaborative Sourcing, Forecasting & Scheduling, Inventory Collaboration, Order Execution, Invoice and Cash Management

Solution integration with SAP and other TTC non-SAP business systems and processes;

Lead the integration of Ariba as required with other SAP cloud or on-premise solutions as required;

Lead the management of the Ariba Network for TTC business partners;

Lead data identification/conversion/migration/loading/cleansing/extraction approaches to support the business in validation and reconciliation deliverables and supporting activities;

Lead the business teams through all phases of the project, including but not limited to project planning, solution design, change management, communications, and testing, training, cutover, go-live and post go-live support activities in partnership with the systems integrator.

4.0    Deliverables

Documentation related to Development or Configuration

Review and provide input to testing strategy and plan

Review and provide input to end user training strategy and plan

Conduct solution walkthroughs as required

Integration management of SAP Ariba with other departments

Review and provide input and support to data strategies, plans and execution

Review and recommendation security role structures to adhere to leading practices with segregation of duties and least privilege concept

Document sustainment procedures for the SAP Ariba processes

Review and provide input to technical operations and handover plan

Review and provide input to cutover plans

Review and provide input to production system setup

Triage and resolve all the SAP Ariba defects in test phases/cycles as required

Provide production support after go live

Provide input and facilitate business process workshops for benefits realization

Provide input to lessons learned and project closeout

Document meeting minutes and action items as required when facilitating and leading the SAP Ariba meetings/workshops
