Job Description
What will you do?
· Develop relationships through networking, relationship-building, marketing, joint field work and training producers on RBC Insurance’s Wealth and Investment products with National Account consultants and MGA’s.
· Partner with Inside Wholesalers to develop and enhance existing and new relationships with insurance advisors in a defined territory with the goals of increasing the sales of RBC Investment products.
· Identify, prioritize and strengthen relationships with top advisors
· Build profitable MGA/Brokerage relationships, achieving business growth goals, revenue plans and cost controls
· Deliver presentations to advisors on sales concepts, market and product updates
· Increase external network to contribute to the community and to capitalize on business opportunities (centers of influence)
Here’s what we need from you:
Must-have
• Professional sales experience that demonstrates a hunger and passion achieved through opportunity spotting, cross-selling, and meeting/exceeding targets
• A talent for listening, establishing trust with prospects, a dedication to finding the right solutions for clients
• An existing network of referrals and/or centers of influence
• A flair for building relationships and a strong work ethic
• A LLQP (Life License) and a University degree or equivalent
• Segregated Funds Sales experience
• Must be based in Manitoba
Nice to Have
· Extensive knowledge of the market and MGA model
· Understanding of the MFDA and other (IIROC) landscape (from a competitive perspective)

Job Summary
What is the opportunity?
• Develop & Achieve sales and business development goals through MGAs and independent advisors in specified territory (Manitoba and North-Western Ontario).
• Be the first point of contact for Wealth/ Investment Producers – for inquiries, case consultation, and joint field calls.
• Deliver presentations to advisors on sales concepts, product features, market landscape and product positioning.
• Increase external network to contribute to the community and maximize opportunities.
• Responsible to deliver on the cross-sell strategy within the assigned territory, referring leads to internal partners.
• Identify other opportunities within RBCI and proactively serve to support the advisor towards growth and expansion, including all RBCI lines of business.
