About the role
New Zealand Police plays an important part in helping to make roads safer through prevention and enforcement initiatives. As a Senior Road Policing Advisor, you will enable our frontline staff by providing expert policy advice about road policing. You will be writing briefing and position papers to support operational changes. You will analyse issues and identify impacts to policy and initiate conversations with key stakeholders who will be affected by any proposed changes. You will provide expert advice on transport issues and will lead the development of operational policy and forms. You will be confident managing multiple pieces of work and question the status quo to affect change.
