Are you an experienced recruiter who is confident in your ability to support our leaders as they attract and recruit the best people for their mahi? Do you love working in a collaborative team where you can share your knowledge and expertise through coaching and mentoring? Come and join our amazing team.

We\'re recruiting three proficient senior recruiters: an additional permanent Senior Recruitment Advisr and two fixed term opportunities; one a newly created project position and another backfilling one of our awesome recruiters who is on secondment supporting a senior leader. We\'re open to interagency secondments too.

Mō te tūnga | About the role

Located in Wellington, our Senior Recruitment Advisers are responsible for leading a recruitment portfolio and supporting recruitment advisers and coordinators in the delivery of quality recruitment services to our stakeholders.

As the successful Senior Recruitment Adviser the key aspects of the role include:

  • Advising leaders on best-practice recruitment selection and process
  • Delivering recruitment outcomes for senior and strategic roles within National office
  • Mentoring / sharing expertise with team members across the group
  • Embracing our values as an integral part of our selection process
  • Coordinating resources to ensure we\'re recruiting the best candidates from a diverse range of backgrounds
  • Helping build capability of internal candidates and hiring managers by delivering recruitment training/workshops
  • Looking for opportunities to raise the profile of Ara Poutama Aotearoa at events and community engagements

The mid point of the salary range is $108,180 and the full range (85%-120%) is $91,953- $129,816.

We\'re looking for experienced Senior Recruiters who:

  • Enjoy recruiting a wide variety of roles in their portfolio
  • Want to share their extensive recruitment knowledge and expertise with colleagues
  • Can design and deliver creative sourcing solutions to attract a diverse candidate pool
  • Build solid relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Can positively engage with iwi, community groups and external stakeholders
  • Seek opportunities to demonstrate the Ara Poutama Aotearoa values
  • Recognise the importance of a te ao Māori world view
  • Experience with Springboard ATS would be highly beneficial
