A well-known name with a reputable brand is now looking for a senior project manager with a depth of experience across larger commercial projects above $70M. As a contractor they have a mix of projects between $90M -$110M plus smaller projects $30M - $40M, with a strong record of tackling large government projects. This contractor also has a development arm with plans for major housing developments on the horizon. They operate in a non-corporate fashion, family orientated with an inclusion and wellbeing at front of mind.

There immediate need is a SPM for a $100M project to lead from the front with.

As a senior project manager, you will lead the project team through to project delivery. This will involve regular and ongoing contact with project team members, sub-contractors and other consultants. You will be proactively monitoring commercial and contractual issues and providing feedback. You will be ensuring projects costs are measured, monitored and agreed. There will also be a strong emphasis on OSH and compliance.

Key success factors for this role require:

• A tertiary qualification in construction management, quantity surveying or engineering.
• 10 + years experience in managing a mix of medium to large construction projects, healthcare or large government projects would be ideal
• Sound knowledge of the local construction market and relevant commercial construction legislation.
• Ability to lead and performance manage construction teams to achieve agreed outcomes.
• Sound programming skills.
• Strong financial management with ability to drive cost accountability.
• Outstanding written and oral communication.
