Job Description

We are looking for Program Manager who has passion for, technology and platform performance, constantly learning new domains in Azure and Edge, customer driven development, and driving results with measurable outcomes. 
 

Azure Edge + Platform (AE+P) brings together Edge platforms, devices, and services to deliver Edge solutions, operating systems, and engineering systems. Driven by its customers’ needs, AE+P seeks to accelerate growth for Azure, Office, Windows and Microsoft’s customers worldwide. 

Within AE+P, you will be joining Fundamentals, Insights, Data and Observability (FIDO) team.  FIDO’s mission is to deliver data platforms and services that empower customers to successfully operate their businesses, improve their customer experiences and transform their businesses.  It implies that we drive innovation to bring the Observability, Diagnostics, Reliability, Serviceability, Digital Twin of Azure platforms across Azure Cloud and Edge and all of Microsoft business (Windows, M365, Gaming, CAIS), to provide data insights, to successfully operate, improve quality of customer experiences.  

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Research customer scenarios and industry trends to formulate product requirements. 
  • Collaborate across a diverse group of disciplines and organizations to develop and build product and platform strategy.
  • Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, data scientists, compliance, privacy, security, and legal teams to deliver insights that drive adoption of and innovation within Azure, Office, and Windows products and services. 
  •  Develop, prioritize, and communicate customer and partner scenarios, requirements and features that balance end user experience, business needs and technical capability through industry research, customer insight and curiosity in a regulatory, data and technical environment that is constantly changing. 
  • Develop and continuously improve standard operating procedures and processes to enable delivery of products, platforms and services that delight your customers and partners. 
  • Drive customer success.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Program / Product management experience designing and shipping platforms and services.
  • Strong technical background and analytical skills, with the ability to work directly with customers, partners, and engineering teams. 
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and coordination skills are a must for this role.
  • Strong customer empathy and passion for building trust relationships with customers. 
  • Proven ability to build successful partnerships and drive complex cross-group collaboration. 
  • Proven record of building technical and business relationships with senior stakeholders. 
  • Exceptional decision-making and prioritization skills, conflict resolution, community building, and follow through. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge or desire to build working knowledge of security and privacy standards/regulations such as ISO, FedRamp, GDPR preferred. 
  • BS, BA, Computer Science Degree or equivalent preferred. 

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
