The Growth and Distribution Team is looking for a thoughtful, organized, and driven program manager to join us! We are at the heart of where volume growth begins: We’re scaling across Microsoft and growing the reach of WebXT.  
 
This role requires a passion for delivering highly relevant results to our customers, the ability to traverse a range of teams and technologies to deliver awesome user experiences and a strong product business sense. We work on the cutting edge of search and feed experiences, as well as A/B testing and experimentation to evolve and innovate our products and product growth. Some of the features we drive include the built-in search experiences within the Edge browser, search in the Windows taskbar, integrations in other products across the Microsoft ecosystem and WebXT growth features. We are looking for a seasoned PM with a passion for growing customers, optimizing experiences, deep technical expertise, great user empathy, and strong business instincts. An ideal candidate would have: 

• Relentless drive to deliver high quality and relevant search results for customers as well as a passion for identifying unmet customer needs and pain points
• Love for data: Creative, analytical and critical thinking abilities; experience in statistical analysis is a plus 
• The ability to take a complex and ambiguous problem and build concrete and compelling solutions 
• Be able to draw product insights from data and drive innovation based on those data-driven learnings
• Strong interest in hypothesis driven product development including testing and A/B experimentation 
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a can-do attitude and ability for driving business growth strategy 
• Leader and Collaborator: Ability to work effectively with a number of partners and customers 

#WebXT 

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic and tactical volume and growth of WebXT features across a variety of product surfaces
• Partner closely with cross-org partners to build and optimize experiences on high impact, high visibility features 
• Proactively communicate issues and status with feature team and key stakeholders, including executive communications
• Partner with design and user research team to develop user experiences which align to customer needs
• Drive clarity from ambiguous problems to tactical, actionable, and iterative solutions the team can execute on
• Gather requirements and insights and translate them into high quality feature specs
• Track key issues, product performance and impact, and manage team execution
• Create scalable solutions that can be applied as a framework for solving multiple scenarios across different partners and device types 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: 

• BA/BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline
• Program or product management or related experience  
• Program or product management experience in user experience related projects  
  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with A/B experimentation and data analysis
• General knowledge of Microsoft and competitive Web technologies, such as .NET, ASP, XML/HTML, and XML Web services, etc. 
• Excellent communication problem identification and problem-solving skills
• Successful track record of working collaboratively across multiple teams
• Strong strategic thinking
