Do you love solving deep technical problems with tough business requirements and direct customer impact? Do you want to design and build a highly scalable, and available solutions with customers? If you answered yes, then the Azure Confidential Computing team may have a position for you.
The Microsoft Azure Compute team builds the core infrastructure and APIs that power the Microsoft Azure platform. Azure Confidential Computing protects the confidentiality and integrity of your data and code while it’s processed in the public cloud. Cloud security is the cornerstone of our confidential cloud vision, which aims to remove Microsoft from the trusted computing base (TCB) of Azure. We are a team that is in startup mode and are growing fast, so if being there ‘at the beginning’ and building a platform through working closely with customers aligns to your passions, then consider this role.
We are looking for a dynamic Program Manager to join the Azure Compute team with experience of working with software or infrastructure products. This includes working closely with customers and getting to solutions that best fit their needs. In this role, you will be hands-on to help design customer solutions and extract insight to improve the platform. You’ll work directly with engineering to bring impact through customer success. You will influence the product strategy and feature roadmap to improve in-market offerings.
Ideally, we are looking for someone who has written code, operated infrastructure, deployed containers, and can get in the technical weeds. We want someone who gets great satisfaction from guiding enterprises towards a technology they believe in. We are looking for folks who have credibility and recognition with their peers on mediums such as GitHub, Twitter, and Medium, and are equally comfortable working with decision makers at large enterprises. This opportunity is for the technical product focused program manager who just does not want to be part of an industry movement but wants to be out front leading it. Passion is key.
