We are currently seeking a Network Monetization Analyst (Demand and Product) who will focus on understanding the search advertising ecosystem for the APAC and Latin America marketplaces. Specifically why shifts in supply and demand create movement in the marketplace and how to influence monetization optimization and improvements. In this role you will dive into data and gain an understanding of levers that drive performance. You will take a consultative approach, testing hypothesis and applying frameworks to generate data driven answers to complex business questions. Equally important is your ability to communicate across a varied range of partners. This will require a strong understanding of Microsoft Advertising system and processes and an ability to work and leverage resources across the organization.
In this role you will interact with engineering, marketing, sales and other partners in global teams to ensure the right investments are made in our products and business strategies.

Responsibilities
· Lead a weekly demand review to understand key changes within our advertiser base across our top APAC and LATAM marketplaces, with a focus on industry vertical trends and the impact on monetization. Drive course correction measures with Sales partners as appropriate.
· Lead analytical approaches to understand how our customers are adopting and benefiting from the adoption of our vast range of ad features. Identify areas of adoption best practice and partner with Product Marketing to drive awareness.
· Provide analytical support for new business/product categories.
· Conduct exploratory analytics to investigate thematic areas of advertiser feedback, building business cases for necessary product investments where appropriate.
· Serve as the key partner to Business Management, Finance, Engineering and field teams on demand performance in the APAC and LATAM regions.
· Lead project work streams with limited oversight.
· Assist with monetization initiatives end to end by working with engineering, legal and marketing partners as appropriate.
· Develop and lead executive level presentations on supply and monetization.
· Maintain a deep understanding of competitive offerings, gaps, and opportunities.

· Be a Strategic Advisor: Provide thought leadership, advice, influence and insight to partners across other teams.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced degree (MBA) preferred.
· 3+ years of experience in consulting or business development.
· 5+ years of experience in the online advertising industry is required, preferably in Search Engine Marketing in a strategic capacity . Yield management experience and knowledge of auction theory preferred.
· 5+ years in program management or analytics role, including focus on digital, strategy and execution.
· Demonstrated ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems by applying or developing structured frameworks and utilizing sophisticated analytical approaches.
· Thorough knowledge and proficiency in working with large data sets. MS Excel required, SQL and PowerBI preferred.
· An individual who can work creatively, resourcefully and with impeccable project management and organizational skills.
· A team player with the leadership skills to take initiative on big challenges, establish a plan and spark people's best thinking to drive results through v-teams.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organization, from senior level executives to frontline employees.
· Outstanding cross-group collaboration and stakeholder management skills. Demonstrated capability to influence partners and internal stakeholders at varying levels of the organization, across functions and geographies.
· Demonstrated ability to accommodate change and thrive amid ambiguity.
· In-depth knowledge of APAC (and ideally LATAM) markets with respect to media buying preferences and key macro trends impacting the advertising business.
· Deep industry knowledge about the state of digital advertising. This includes trends, players in the space, and Microsoft’s current position across these trends. Knowledge of the advertising partner ecosystem is especially helpful.
· Exceptional at influencing and leading without formal authority.
