The Information Technology team develops and maintains Bell’s internal systems and applications while also developing integrated technology solutions for customers across all lines of business.
The IT Security Strategy & Awareness Team is currently seeking an energetic and passionate Senior Program Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will drive the execution of a key Security program across IT. The candidate will be accountable to work with cross-functional teams to develop strategies, driving teams to reach our Security program goals. We require a highly motivated individual with strong leadership skills who thrives in an exciting and constantly changing environment.
Job Duties/Accountabilities:
The successful candidate will be accountable for the following:
Lead the strategy build & execution of a multi-year program to drive security controls across IT applications.
Negotiate and confirm program scope with key stakeholders and track our key performance indicators to meet our business objectives.
Assist in project planning and costing for multi-year strategic plan, support all PEATS and finance project delivery obligations following IT practices.
Lead regular sessions with IT VP teams to define and drive the strategy to meet security program objectives.
Identify/raise project issues and gaps and drive teams to reach resolution.
Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet cross function teams & program objectives.
Conduct data analysis for investigation and quantification of security posture and impact, developing metrics to evaluate progress, capabilities, and goals.
Critical Qualifications/Competencies:
At least 5 years previous experience as a Delivery and or Security Program Manager
Proficient in Project Management methodology
Sound business acumen
Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project, Visio)
Strong leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to gain management support and work effectively at all levels across the organization and across departments within our organization
Ability to negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders and teams
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills
Strong analytical & problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fluid team environment & managing multiple priorities
Ability to handle ambiguity and rapid change
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Finance, Budget (Knowledge of SAP) and Governance Processes (PEATS/IPC/ICEC)
Project Management Certifications and or work experience equivalents
Working Conditions:
Ability to work in virtual teams, handling multiple projects with geographically dispersed team members.
Availability to work occasional weekends, evenings and nights, to meet hard deadlines and deployment activities.
Fast paced, changing working environment.
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
