Our team spends time researching, listening to pitches, and identifying and building new innovations for Outlook in productivity and time management. While we work to improve existing products and technologies, we are not limited by them. We also explore new products, technologies, and business areas beyond Outlook.

Our goal is to find and develop disruptive opportunities that have the potential to drive 10x value to our Outlook business. We are a fast-paced team that runs like a startup within the Outlook team. Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Product Manager for our Incubation team who will lead disruptive opportunities in communications and time management. As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead an incubation initiative working alongside engineering, design, research, and data science.

• Define the vision and strategy, translating the vision into a prioritized roadmap.
• Collaborate with research, design, engineering to define product requirements and lead the development of prototypes.
• Ship the prototype to early adopters while collecting data and user feedback to iterate the solution.
• Ship the most promising prototypes broadly to customers.
• Help manage the incubation process end-to-end from facilitating new pitches, improvements to the process, and coordinating incubation programs check-ins.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in a Product Management role
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Track record of working with engineering teams to ship impactful experiences to customers at scale.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong storyteller who can bring a deep understanding to consumer markets.
• Deep customer empathy with the focus to identify the core user problems amidst the flow of user wants.
• Innate curiosity and self-starter who thrives in a highly ambiguous startup environment.
• Experience leading cross-company communication, collaboration, and influence of stakeholders. Can drive clarity in a highly ambiguous environment.
• Experience leading an iterative product lifecycle – from research, data analysis, ideation, design, specification, implementation, and ongoing impact analysis.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with experience working at a tech startup.
