We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Specialist to join the Infrastructure Procurement team of a large public sector organisation.

As the Senior Procurement Advisor, you will support infrastructure ventures by coordinating and delivering end-to-end procurement activities as well as identifying and implementing areas of improvement through the procurement of design and construction services.

In this role you will:

• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders to help understand service requirements, refine specifications to form tender documents, and help deliver value for money outcomes.
• Identify and deliver procurement initiatives that provide value to the organization’s programs. 
• Co-ordinate the end-to-end tender process for large volumes of procurement activity.
• Monitor the delivery of services over the duration of a contract, ensuring supplier performance is being managed and reported appropriately

You will bring to this role:

• Construction procurement experience, ideally in a central government setting
• The ability to manage multiple procurements at once at different stages with different priorities.
• A proactive and “get up and go” mindset
• A strong stakeholder/relationship management background in working with internal clients, understanding what they require with the ability to look for solutions
• The ability to work independently yet know when to seek advice or to escalate depending on the level of risk to the procurement/project
