Are you ready to take the reins as the Senior Portfolio Manager for this large Government organisation?

Lead a team of 4 and help raise an established Portfolio environment to the next level. Our client has a positive, established and flexible culture and they are looking for the right person to add real value.

The role will rely on a heavily strategic mind to set up for the future. Being a part of the wider EPMO you will be a key leader of Portfolio, Programme and Project Management (P3M) you will be tasked with continuous improvement of the governance to provide the senior leadership with one point of accountability.

Required skills:

• Demonstrated ability in the management of portfolio design, planning, performance, reporting, risk, financial and assurance people, processes and systems
• Good understanding of organisational and management theory and practice, and applied understanding of resource and change management
• Extensive practical experience (10 years or more) in a management role within of a large multi-faceted or complex business environment with multiple customer and stakeholder expectations
• Practical experience with Axelos/APMG MoP, MSP, Prince 2, P3M Maturity Model, BBC and a knowledge of PMI equivalents is desirable
