Being a Senior Advisor in the Governance and Operational Risk Transformation team means:

Working in operational risk means being part of a dynamic team surrounded by experts and having a cross-sector view of the Bank.

Your main challenges

  • Help implement operational risk processes in a new technological tool
  • Define, implement and coordinate the operational governance of the tool for operational risk processes
  • Set up and coordinate an operational sub-committee made up of representatives from front-line operational risk management groups in business lines and head office sectors
  • Help enhance the tool by participating in all stages of implementing improvements
  • Produce analyses and set up control mechanisms to identify trends and faults
  • Serve as a recognized expert advisor for supporting and updating the OR processes in the tool

More specifically, you will:

  • Be the administrator of the technology tool
  • Participate in the multi-sector operational governance of the technology tool
  • Form ties and work closely with the groups in the first and second lines of defence at the Bank
  • Report on the project status and development of the tool to various committees

Competencies required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience OR master’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience coordinating the business component of a technological implementation project
  • Excellent prioritization skills and ability to work on several complex files at the same time
  • Excellent ability to take charge and exert influence
  • Basic knowledge of operational risk management
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
