Your main challenges:

• Analyze and interpret financial data, explain discrepancies and ensure corrections are made
• Take charge of problems, solve them and improve the process upstream as needed
• Establish and maintain partnerships with various internal and external stakeholders as part of joint projects
• Ensure the development, implementation, monitoring and control of work systems, tools and processes, and make recommendations to optimize the efficiency of operations and the quality of financial information
• Identify and analyze the needs of stakeholders in order to create work systems, tools and processes that respond to their needs and facilitate decision-making

More specifically, you will:

• Solve, maintain and ensure the governance of master data related to the Bank’s various accounting needs
• Ensure maintenance processes are aligned with the Smartstream and SAP accounting systems and the related equivalence tables
• Learn to use the different tools during a major change management situation
• Be responsible for the quality and updates of different elements in the SAP accounting key dimensions
• Understand the links between the different accounting systems and processes and develop controls to ensure integrity
• Continue improving the process to increase quality (reduce production effort, improve controls to ensure the integrity of Master Data)

Competencies required:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and three to five years of relevant experience OR master's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of SmartStream and SAP, an asset
• Be rigorous 
• Enjoy taking charge of situations, and leading them to a conclusion
• Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
