As Senior Manager within the Quebec Access Engineering Network team, you will be part of the large and dynamic Planning and Provisioning team of the wired access network of Quebec.

The Senior Manager is responsible for the strategic program and budget management of the district while working closely with finance experts, network engineering teams, network construction teams and other partners, in order to participate improving the delivery of our various initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the governance of end-to-end strategic projects

• Ensure alignment within the finance and operational teams

• Lead, inspire and influence effectively a team of professionals

• Provide regular project reports to the project team and senior management

• Use an agile methodology in the implementation of new processes and embody the values ​​of continuous improvement

Skills sought:

• University degree and / or equivalent experience in Telecommunications, engineering or management

• Ability to lead strategic initiatives with agility and to work under pressure in order to meet business deadlines and objectives

• Be an agent of transformation, inspire and influence the team to try new things, innovate and act differently

• Great ease with ambiguity and constant change

Knowledge and experience:

• 5 years or more of experience in program management or finance, management of engineering projects

• Experience in direct or indirect management of people to achieve common goals.

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data, develop ideas and implement project monitoring initiatives

• Excellent communication skills and a good sense of synthesis

• Mastery of the Microsoft Office series (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

• Experience in preparing and delivering executive presentations

Other knowledge considered an asset:

• Good knowledge of the external network

• Knowledge of the SAP environment (P50) is an asset

• Understanding of access and Expertech teams (end to end) desired
