The opportunity

EY DnA is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, with over 500 specialist employees working across multiple industry sectors.

As a Senior Manager Risk Data Specialist, you will contribute to the growth and development of EY DnA’s risk management practice in a senior leadership capacity, as well as support our financial services clients in the shaping, implementation and management of their data-led risk transformation journey. This senior opportunity looks at financial services risk management through a data and analytics lens, thus you will ideally have a strong background in local and global financial regulations with experience in data analysis and platforms. 

Some of your responsibilities will include: 

• Leading the delivery of project teams in financial services risk management engagements 
• Supporting our clients in managing their business risks and regulatory demands 
• Working with both internal and external senior stakeholders in the development of data led risk management strategies 
• Business case development 
• Team management and capability development 

To qualify for the role, you must have: 

• Experience in working at a financial services institution in at least one of the following financial services risk management areas: financial crime, fraud, regulatory and compliance
• Ability to describe the role that data and analytics play in risk transformation programs 
• Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing complex risk transformation projects 
• Ability to lead business development with a proven track record of achieving business sales in Data & Analytics within the financial services market.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• In-depth knowledge of key regulatory requirements and policies  
• Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Consulting experience and background, including engaging directly with clients
