Job Description

The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. Responsibilities:

Bell Media is seeking a dynamic, self-starter with a passion for television and a love for details, collaboration and challenges. Working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, interested candidates must be a strong leader able to adapt to a quickly shifting landscape, thrive on meeting deadlines and have a keen analytical and creative problem solving skill set. This role is critical to the strategic direction of the CTV Network. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • General management of the Content Strategy CTV Programming team
  • Management of scheduling and strategy across CTV and CTV2 using critical analysis of rights, audience trends, and resources to make programming decisions
  • Management of scheduling across all Entertainment Specialty/Discovery brands
  • Supervise paid programming and infomercial programming processes
  • Communicate with key internal stakeholders (Marketing, Communications, Digital, Revenue Management, Finance) on programming decisions, urgent changes, and future planning
  • Track financials for all current series on a monthly basis and assist with invoicing conflicts
  • Manage feature film inventory and budget, along with movie strategy for the CTV network
  • Other tasks as required

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Media Studies preferred
  • 7-10 years of experience in a programming team, preferably in a management role
  • Strong knowledge of the content business and US studio distribution and network system
  • Must have proven ability to lead teams across multiple disciplines
  • Superb attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
  • Creative thinker with ability to brainstorm solutions and make connections
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software, especially Excel
  • Able to work independently, as well as in a collaborative team environment with well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple, often competing priorities
  • IBMS experience an asset

Location: 299 Queen St West - Toronto

 

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience

 

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. Overtime as required
