The Network Security Practice owns the P&L, strategy, and overall market success for providing network service to businesses across Canada. This is an area of significant strategic importance & investment for Bell Business Markets.  We are seeking a dynamic, results focused and self-driven Senior Manager, Market strategist to join our growing team.

 The candidate owns and orchestrates the go to market strategy for network services. With in-depth knowledge of connectivity options, networking technologies and network operations, you understand how the market is changing. Moreover, you know how related technology trends in cloud, security, automation and the like are reshaping network markets. In addition, this role goes beyond the technology, where familiarity with unique business challenges of different industries is important. Having an opinion and being able to back it up with market research, is important as well, This includes developing strong knowledge of the competitive landscape for the entire practice portfolio, as well as define and develop use-cases, content collateral related to the entire span of our product and solution suites. Provide clear strategy and growth path to enable P&L to material growth; build, transformed and lead sizable internal strategy, support the launch of new businesses and technologies. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement strategy to enable growth in Network services
  • Maintain strong familiarity with network trends such as SD-WAN, 5G (private, public, MEC), Wifi 6/7, cloud networking, legacy connectivity substitution
  • Understand the unique demands of different roles (e.g., executives vs. frontline buyers), industries and organization sizes – and communicating our value / differentiation to these various segments
  • Forecast how multiple market dynamics will shape buyer requirements in current year and 3 – 5 years out
  • Development of the go to market strategy
  • In partnership with the Take-To-Market team, plan and execute Solution Launches process on behalf of the Practice
  • Develop and consolidate solution offering content & collateral on behalf of Product Managers (Use Cases, White Papers, Reference Cases, Training)
  • Work closely with Product Managers & Marketing primes at early product development stages to develop value proposition
  • Monitor network services & solutions trends in the market
  • Perform regular competitive product testing
  • Be the voice of the End to End Network Portfolio in the market
  • Lead analyst relationship

 Skills and Competencies:           

  • 10 years+ Product Marketing, Technology Consulting, Sales Engineer leader or Product Management experience
  • Previous experience at an OEM, Technology firm or Carrier is a strong asset
  • Strategic thinker, verbally articulate, with strong presentation skills
  • Strong PPT skills is required, with the ability to develop executive presentations
  • Analytical skills, previous exposure to value-based pricing models is desirable
  • Strong project management capabilities​​​​​​
  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
