As Senior Manager, IT Operational Risk Management, you will play a leadership role and ensure sound management of the IT sector’s risks. You will report directly to the VP, IT Strategy, Architecture and Innovation. 

Your role:

• Define and deploy operational risk frameworks in the IT sector and make sure they are followed
• Develop the risk appetite and provide advice and guidance on operational risk controls for the IT teams
• Oversee and manage the IT PARC and guide operational risk-related decisions
• Prepare and lead various executive forums where operational risks are reviewed and approved, and organize how the IT operational risk posture is reported to the regulator
• Report operational events to regulators, provide a causal analysis and track their remediation
• Manage the relationship with regulators on IT operational risk matters
• Lead a team that is responsible for:
• Managing IT operational risks and making sure the risk appetite is followed
• Planning and making sure the IT sector ORSAs are completed
• Reporting on IT operational risks, and monitoring and developing indicators (KRIs)
• Ensuring compliance with external technology risk requirements
• Supporting teams during internal and external audit mandates, helping develop plans and monitoring action plans

Required skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 10 years of relevant experience
• Advanced knowledge of technology risks (e.g., CISA, CRISC)
• Experience in security governance at a large organization
• Experience in personnel management (motivating and fostering creativity)
• Ability to influence stakeholders
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
• Critical thinking skills
• Ability to summarize ideas and lead others
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain concepts in plain language, both spoken and written
