Job Description
YOU will help build and deliver RBC’s Future of Work (FoW) Strategy by
Design and implement strategies that enables RBC’s workforce to be supported and empowered to work differently to better serve our clients, communities and each other. ​ This includes and is not limited to:
Gathering data, insights, feedback and best practices internally and externally to inform decisions and design
Work with Enterprise partners and SMEs to define requirements, analyze risks / impacts / considerations for the strategy
Look at internal and external trends, insights and leading practices to inform opportunities and solutions
Analyze, build, synthesize and lead recommendations to an actionable level of detail and test recommendation for fit and alignment with overall FoW vision and strategy
Develop Enterprise principles, guidelines, processes and supporting resources
Partner and co-create with HR and Enterprise CoEs and SMEs to solution, implement and operationalize the strategy
Ongoing planning, content development & socialization of the FoW Strategy, narrative and message map to amplify strategic messages and ensure leaders and employees are able to engage and stay connected with the FoW Strategy throughout the journey
Ensure integration and alignment of the FoW narrative with other initiatives, and engagement and communication channels and tactics (includes HR communications & event management support as needed)
Deliver and oversee the supporting tools and resources to enable strategic FoW planning and monitoring
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
University degree or related business experience
7+ years of relevant experience in a large matrixed environment
Proven track record of demonstrated achievement, expertise and client-focused delivery
Strong communication, presentation and storytelling skills (oral and written) with the ability to express ideas clearly and concisely to senior audiences
Strong analytical skills, business acumen and consulting advisory capability
Ability to constructively challenge while building / maintaining strong relationships
Comfortable and able to navigate and adapt through ambiguity, complexity and continuous change
Ability to understand organizational issues and challenges and influence stakeholders
Strong team player, highly collaborative, acts as one team and speaks up for the good of RBC

Job Summary
As the Senior Manager, HR Strategy reporting to the Director, HR Strategic Initiatives, you will focus on designing and implementing strategic initiatives that support our Future of Work & Culture strategy.
The HR Strategy team is a part of the broader Future of Work & Culture team which includes Insights & Thought Leadership, Culture & Brand, Solution Enablement & Marketing, and Portfolio Management & Strategy Integration. As a collective team, we; set the HR vision, culture, and strategy for RBC; drive thought leadership on the future of work and culture; and influence and boost the strategy across Talent Strategy domains and Talent Partnership teams.
Can you define and deliver strategic priorities while balancing operational efficiency and best practices? Do you have hands-on experience leading, influencing and working in partnership with multiple stakeholders in a matrixed organization?
