We go beyond strategy and provide end to end implementation of real-life data environments, technology solutions and have some of the best architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists and consultants in the region.
We are seeking applications from Senior Manager level candidates within Wealth and Asset Management and or Banking Capital Markets. This role is to be permanently based in either Melbourne or Sydney.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with clients, develop the data migration strategy from strategy to execution.
- Analyse the requirements for the data migration/conversion, including conversion of historical data.
- Develop data migration and conversion specifications, including data mapping and translation.
- Oversee data cleansing activities.
- Own the data migration tooling at EY to support the build out specific tool and applications to hence EY capability.
- Develop and execute plans for testing of data; loading data into destination systems to support testing activities and implementation.
- Work with Project Manager’s and other project team members to co-ordinate activities, identify risks and issues, provide estimates of work required and give regular written updates on progress.
- Project manage teams, information flows and manage key stakeholders.
- Play a role in business plan initiatives (e.g. key accounts, recruitment, client service framework) and new business opportunities by building client relationships and demonstrating knowledge of client business.
- Understand the capabilities of the firm and look for opportunities to sell additional services to our clients.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Proven expertise in Wealth Asset Management and or Banking Capital Markets is essential
- Solid background in Data Migration and Analysis with expertise in eliciting, comprehending, mapping, documenting, measuring, analysing and validating data structure and actual data
- Experience in large scale data migration and delivery programs at big four banks or within a consulting eco-system
- Key skills in data mapping processes, including creating data element mappings between two or more distinct data models
- Expertise in using common tools and methods for extraction, conversion and loading of data including; SQL, Data migration tools
- Scripting skills to allow for the automation of conversion processes
- User requirements documentation experience throughout the requirements lifecycle, utilising techniques such as traceability matrixes
- Ability to coordinate data migration activities with vendors and multiple stakeholders
- Experience in functional specification documentation and technical specification documents for internal development and tendering purposes
- Ability to identify and produce project deliverables
- As a Senior Leader, you will be responsible for engaging and developing relationships at the C-suite
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Technical Degree or Master of IT or Data Systems and or MBA, is preferred
