Job Description
As the Senior Manager of Digital Marketing you will be responsible for developing the strategies for effective online journeys to engage business customers on Bell Business Markets website. There will be a specific focus on defining what the Cloud Marketplace digital engagement journey looks like; building awareness, marketplace discovery, purchase, on-boarding, support, review & management and purchase of subsequent services. Additionally, you will take a leadership role in further developing and executing Bell Business Markets content marketing and social strategies.
This is a high-visibility and cross-functional role, which means you will collaborate with a large number of internal stakeholders to help them develop & execute their strategies enhancing their initiatives with your expertise in UX, SEO/SEM, digital analytics, and digital technology that enables highly engaging experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop digital strategy to successfully engage and educate our existing and prospective customers
- Oversee a variety of content marketing programs, being a subject matter expert on the technology that enables them, SEO, & analytics
- Lead and develop a high performing team of digital marketers and engage a portfolio of agencies
- Provide leadership & strategic recommendations on delivering great content, tools, and capabilities to enhance the client experience
- Enhance our Bell Business Markets story with successful execution of the digital components to enable the vision for brand programs & initiatives
- Design, communicate and effectively execute our Cloud Marketplace story, including internal socialization to ensure the appropriate level of buy-in
- Ensure the right resources, processes and platforms are in place to deliver on objectives with speed and accuracy
- Create a culture of learning – conduct regular performance and ROI analysis to understand effectiveness of strategy, and make continuous improvements
- Identify and pursue opportunities for simplification, cost reduction and improvement
- Support professional performance KPIs and career growth plans for individuals on your team

- Exceptional business acumen to develop Digital Marketing strategies, conduct assessments of resources & tools, and establish new ways of working and telling our story
- A deep understanding of Marketing tech and Ad tech tools including; Content Management Systems (CMS), tracking & analytics, usability & navigation, personalization & audience management/targeting, email development, Marketing & Sales CRM systems (ideally Salesforce)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a simple and concise manner, and influence key stakeholders
- Results oriented with experience establishing metrics, KPIs and accountability to ensure successful outcomes across multiple disciplines
- Team player with high energy and strong interpersonal skills
- An experienced change agent who leads with enthusiasm and influence – you find creative ways to get things done, experiment and pivot as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in Business/Marketing, Masters or Professional Designation is an asset
- Previous B2B telecommunications experience is preferable
- 5+ years experience in digital marketing (specifically enabling digital experiences)
- Minimum 5 years of increasing responsibility in leading digital marketing teams, as well as stakeholder engagement, alignment and approval
