Job Description

What will you do?

• Drive the creation of an integrated end-to-end acquisition strategy (50%) to improve acquisition results by creating strategies and initiatives to encourage clients to enroll in Creditor insurance

  • This includes but is not limited to leading and supporting various aspects of ideation, identification, prioritization, design, development and implementation of acquisition opportunities and initiatives
  • Explore & advance new/ alternative sales channels through existing (or new) internal & external partnerships to drive our bold acquisition targets
  • Identifying & assessing new opportunities which contribute to client growth targets (e.g. exploring non-proprietary sales channels)

 

•Lead the creation of acquisition reporting & analytics (25%)

  • Create a fact base to better understand clients, client types and personas (including behaviors, motivations and influences), anticipate movement in the portfolio, and create strategies to retain coverages through meaningful client engagement and treatment plans
  • Develop a comprehensive view of the current state of portfolio acquisition (distribution mix, trends, gaps  generating insights to guide actionable hypotheses to drive client growth)

 

• Relationship management (15%)

  • Collaborate with key partners across the organization to achieve our client growth targets; key partners include, but are not limited to teams within Creditor Insurance (Product, Enablement, Digital, Retention, Analytics), RBC Insurance (Marketing, Technology, Risk, Operations, Underwriters, Research), and P&CB (key stakeholders from various lines of business such as Home Equity Financing, Personal Lending, Cards, Business Financial Services)

 

What will you need to succeed? 

• Minimum 4 to 7 years of related/applicable experience

• Strategic, innovative and analytical thinker with the ability to process complex information and exercise sound judgment

• Demonstrated experience with stakeholder management, facilitation and collaboration across complex organizational environments

• Proven ability to impact and influence across all levels of the organization through effective communication, presentation skills and participation in cross-functional group settings

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and competing priorities

• Experience with RBC portfolio reporting tools such as Tableau, Data Studio etc.
