What is the opportunity?
In this role, you will be responsible for creating, driving and executing on fact based strategies that are forward looking, innovated and align to and support the overall goals and objectives of Caribbean Banking. You will define and drive the overall goals of the organization, spanning all lines of business. Ensures business strategies enable business growth, support financial targets already in place, and define our competitive advantage. You will be enabling competitive differentiation, and even first to market advantage where possible. You will enable the successful execution of strategy through; clear, consistent, timely and effective communication across the enterprise, the creation of an integrated execution plan and new integrated, multi-level, and aligned metrics and measures of success. You will lead a cross enterprise Executive team to champion and execute strategy, by anchoring strategic accountabilities, monitoring success, addressing issues and roadblocks, proposing changes/ new ideas, and ensuring effective risk mitigation. You will bring industry best practices, insights and competitive intelligence to the forefront to help Caribbean Banking remain competitive in the marketplace and evolve as clients needs evolve.
What will you do?
| Create the “top of the house†strategy for our Business, leveraging, coordinating, and informing all individual business line strategies, In partnership with key subject matter experts, and support functions, develop, champion and own key organizational strategies that stretch across all business and functional lines, such as a Client Strategy, Channels, Distribution, Cross Sell strategyEnsure a client driven, approach to the development of all levels and types of strategy. Leverage RBC best practice as appropriate. Work with Communications, HR and the Planning and Integration team to enable key strategy messaging through communication forums including, (but not limited to), Town Halls, Leaders’ Forums, Breakfasts, Operating Committees, Business Councils, etc.Create and/ or supply, Executive and/or Senior Leaders’ communication, etc., for both internal and external use.Ensure linkage between strategic imitative and common goalsAnalysis on conceptual ideas that may or may not be of value to the organization in short order and help driving decision |
