What is the opportunity? 

Aligned with RBC’s commitment to drive new client growth, you will be responsible for developing insights and recommendations, which will transform how we make decisions to drive acquisition & retention across the portfolio, while maximizing the client experience as well as organizational value. In this role, you will report to the Senior Director, Strategy & Digital Execution, and be a member of a dynamic, collaborative, and high-performing team, where you will be expected to contribute to team culture, consistent with the RBC Leadership Model.

What will you do? 

• Assessment of strategic opportunities to support development of Creditor business and product strategies (50%)

o Conducts required due diligence required to assess strategic opportunities for the Creditor business, including but not limited to business cases & financial models; supports product management in providing insights and ideas to support growth objectives of business; supports the development of future product development, acquisition & retention roadmaps

o Develop reporting and presentations, effectively communicating data-driven insights, opportunities and recommendations

• Perform deep dive analyses on the portfolio to generate actionable client insights, in support of broader client growth targets (35%)

O Conduct portfolio analysis on various products (HP, LP, BP and BLIP) to create fact base to better understand client & prospect behavior, and generate insights to support decision making

O Support senior management in the development of Creditor strategies

• Relationship management (15%)

O Collaborate with key partners across the organization to gather data/ insights to advance our client growth targets. Key partners include, but are not limited to teams within Creditor Insurance (Product, Enablement, Digital, Retention, Analytics), RBC Insurance (Marketing, Technology, Risk, Operations, Underwriters, Research), and P&CB (key stakeholders from various lines of business such as Home Equity Financing, Personal Lending, Cards, Business Financial Services)

What will you need to succeed?

• Minimum 4 to 7 years of relevant experience

• Strategic, innovative and analytical thinker with the ability to process complex information and exercise sound judgment, and has strong business case acumen (business casing/ financial modelling experience)

• Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and competing priorities

• Ability to participate on diverse cross-functional teams and/ provide input.

• Experience with RBC portfolio reporting tools such as Tableau
