Are you looking for a unique opportunity to play a critical role in content creation and syndication of programs and services across the Broadcast Industry? The Orbyt Media team is looking for someone who will foster and grow internal and external relationships, and be bold in their idea generation and planning. Responsibilities:
- Secure the most sought after audio content, programs, and creative solutions and participate in the development of original content creation
- Build strategy for show and service placements across Canada and beyond
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external vendors and affiliate relations
- Strategic planning for future course of syndication business
- Support in growing traditional and non traditional revenue streams
- Lead the Orbyt Media team, including training and development of team members, while overseeing operations
- Promotional and publicity appearances, as required
- Work in conjunction with internal and external partners to drive the evolution of the Canadian content landscape
- Create and communicate high level strategic goals to key stakeholders and executive team
- Leverage data to help drive efficiency and create value
- Lead negotiations with key content partners and affiliates

- Proven experience leading a team to meet overall business objectives
- Ability to triage priorities in a rapidly evolving landscape and to sift through the “shiny†to deliver practical yet innovative strategies
- Effective project and time-management skills; Capable of leading multiple high-priority initiatives concurrently
- Calmness under pressure with a high EQ
- Confidence to challenge the status quo and be comfortable with ambiguity
- Demonstrated understanding of the broadcast industry, both in Canada and Globally
- Minimum 5 years industry experience
