Because we genuinely believe in the effectiveness of personalized coaching, our SIRMs regularly hold one-on-one professional development meetings with all Investment and Retirement Development Managers (IRDMs) and offer them change management support.

You will report to the Assistant Vice-President – Investment and Retirement.
You will be in charge of a team of Investment and Retirement Specialists for Montreal.

Set and track performance objectives that will help your team excel.
Implement strategies aimed at increasing and developing the client base in the Personal Banking retirement and protection segments as well as achieving or surpassing your region's business objectives.
Target assigned and unassigned clients in the retirement and protection segments.
Follow up on conversions of RRSPs to RRIFs for assigned and unassigned clients aged 71 and over.
Take a broad view of the Bank's current and future business development and investment issues, and define orientations that will ensure the Bank's long-term success.
Promote business development and service guidelines and ensure standardized tools and processes are applied (sales activity management, sales coaching meetings, client meetings).
Continually question work processes in order to increase productivity and reduce operating costs.
Support branch advisors with retirement-related matters.
Be a leader known for your involvement in the synergy committees of your regions.
Represent the Bank and boost its visibility through your involvement with various organizations and associations in your region.
A completed bachelor's degree in a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience or a completed master's degree in a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience
Comfortable making presentations in front of a group and coaching employees to do so
Experience in personnel management on a sales team
Experience in advisory service and business development
Experience in portfolio management
Valid licence from the Autorité des marchés financiers to practise as a Financial Planner, an asset
Valid licence from the Autorité des marchés financiers to practise as a Mutual Funds Representative, required
Diploma from the Institut québécois de planification financière (IQPF) or in the process of obtaining it, an asset
Bilingualism, both spoken and written (English and French), an asset.
